We are in the second semester nearing the end of the school year. I can imagine that students may forgot some of the classroom rules and procedures that you taught back in August. When it comes to classroom management and supporting positive behaviors, I always encourage teachers to be proactive instead of reactive. Common proactive strategies including having a set schedule, using positive praise, building a rapport with students, and providing the services as outlined in the child’s behavior plan if applicable.
